Micah & Becca __ Engaged!
I have known Becca for YEARS, ever since I was in 6th grade maybe? I honestly can't remember the exact year. That's how long its been. I have seen Becca go through so much in her life and after every up and down she's faced she has always come back stronger with a positive outlook on the situation.
She has ALWAYS been someone with a huge, fun personality that will literally catch a room on fire. Okay, not literally. That's how she's always been. Becca has an amazing relationship with God and knows exactly where she's supposed to be, and Micah compliments her so well.
Micah has such a sweet, calming personality...it balances with Becca's spunky self splendidly. When they are together there is NO doubt, whatsoever about how they feel about each other. Seeing them interact for the first time Friday evening was a sweet moment for me. They were naturals in front of the camera so I was able to get plenty of candids of them being themselves and showing how much they truly love each other. As a photographer, that's what I strive to do. Capture the personalities of each individual while creating a collection of images that highlight them as a couple. Again, it was too easy for me with Micah and Becca. I couldn't be more thrilled with how these images turned out!
I had initially told Becca when I found out she was engaged that I wanted to do their engagement session. Bless her heart she agreed and we started talking about places and outfits.
Our first stop was at the Holcomb Gardens at Butler University. This was my first time going to I honestly have no idea what to expect...IT'S BEAUTIFUL. If you are in the Indianapolis area I would highly suggest going there to explore and get pictures taken. There's plenty of places and scenes to have a huge variety of images!
These are my favorites from the Holcomb Garden!
I KNOW. THEY ARE SO CUTE!
I thought it was sweet how Becca wanted to incorporate something that Micah loved into the session...but then again, that's how Becca is!! Sweet, kind, caring and loving! She's going to make an amazing wife!

Becca's ring is BEAUTIFUL. I couldn't stop getting detail shots of it. |

How CUTE are they?! |
They basically did what they wanted, and I was there, too. |
I loved the weeping willows! |
Yep. I lost my breath too! |
This fountain was by the waterfall! |
Aanndddd, this is my absolute favorite! |
Our next stop was Downtown Indianapolis! I have done my sister's senior pictures downtown, but I have not been able to do an engagement session yet. Since I did move to Missouri, I'm thankful I was able to get back to my roots!
Right off the bat, I told Becca and Micah that I wanted more candid images downtown, to really capture their personalities more, and boy did I ever! Being a guy, Micah was pretty much over the whole "getting his pictures taken" by this point. But he pushed through and still did great!
Micah LOVES baseball. LOVES BASEBALL. After we got some pictures of them walking towards me....I knew I had to bust out the baseball Becca wrote on to brighten his day.
He was ALL about the baseball pictures!!
On to the candids!! Becca has the MOST contagious laugh..and I wanted to capture that in the pictures. Thankfully Micah is great at making her smile so it didn't take but a second to get these images! Pure joy...I was almost a puddle on the sidewalk getting these.
There is SO much more I could say about this amazing, beautiful couple. But I'm just going to leave some more pictures for you to cry over, like I want to. There's so much love between them, I couldn't handle it. Micah and Becca, I wish you all the best and I look forward to being in your wedding on that special day!
December 8, 2018!
